HUMIC COMPOST SOCIETY
ELECTION' OF OFFICERS A remit was carried at the annual meeting of the Canterbury branch of the New Zealand Humic Compost Society recommending that the Dominion headquarters of the society be moved from Auckland to a more central locality. Officers were elected as follows:—patron. Mr M. E. Lyons; president, Mr T. D. Lennie; vice-presidents, Messrs W. M. Bell, B Sprange. J. E. Colechin, C. E St. John, Y. T. Shand, S. Webb. C. G. McKeliar. W. R. Early, and Mrs W. B. Crowley; committee, Mesdames C. M. Dymond and A. C. McKillop, Messrs H. A. Wilson, D. A. Lawson, W. T. Waynman, A. R. McKay, and D. R. Alexander; secre-tary-treasurer, Mr J. H. Griffiths; auditor, Mr G. H. Bullock.
