CHRYSANTHEMUM SOCIETY
ELECTION OF OFFICERS A rapidly increasing membership was reported at the annual meeting of the Canterbury (N.Z.) Chrysanthemum Society. It was stated that in future the annual show would be open for a full day. The financial statement showed a satisfactory credit. Officers were elected as follows: patron. Mr H. L. Darton; president and chairman, Mr F. T. Tindall; deputy-chair-man, Mr R. C. Jaggar; vice-presidents. Dr. A. C. McKillop, Messrs R. C. Jaggar, W. H. Cropp, H. Williams, A. Cant, J. R. Templin, F. W. Sincock, and Mrs E. L. King: secretary and treasurer, Mr L. J. M. Manson; honorary auditor, Mr A. Cant; life member and lecturer, Mr R. C. Jaggar; executive committee, Messrs J. R. Templin, R. C. Jaggar, C. T. McAloon, N. H. Brading, H. Williams, Mrs E. L. King, and Dr. A. C. McKillop; decorative committee, Mesdames E. L. King. C. T. McAloon. O. M. Miller, L. M. Bunt, J. R. Templin, P. J. Halligan, and Mr L. J. M. Manson (convener).
