There v ere 251 national savings, quota successes last week. At all the principal centres, and in each of the 20 postal districts, the investments were well in excess of the quotas allotted. In the first 10 weeks of the current financial year most of the districts have made substantia] progress towards reaching their objectives for the year. The Gisborne postal district has made a particularly good showing, with almost 60 per cent, of it. annual quota already in hand Twenty-four areas throughout the Dominion have now recorded annual attainments, the latest being Waikanae, Waikouaiti. Queenstown, Manurewa and Te Araroa.
