“THE MAID OF THE MOUNTAINS”
With Miss Gladys Moncrieff as the star, the J. C. Williamson’s Royal Comic Opera Company will open a return season in Christchurch on Saturday. The first production will be the
musical comedy “The Maid of the Mountairts,” which was accorded an exceptional welcome by Dunedin theatregoers last week. During the Christchurch season "the company will also present “The Merry Widow,” “Viktoria and Her Hussar," and “Rio Rita.”
