REQUEST OF RUGBY LEAGUE
The request by the Canterbury Hugby League for the use of Lancaster Park oval on July 27 was again discussed in committee at the meeting last evening of the management committee of the Canterbury Rugby Union. The chairman (Mr W. E. Maxwell) later announced that a statement would be issued to-day.
