COLLIE DOG TRIALS
LOBURN CLUB
The three-day trials conducted by the Ixibum Collie Club were concluded during the week-end under ideal conditions. About 290 entries were received. The judge was Mr James Patton, and his awards met with unanimous approval. The sheep were good, strong wethers, lent by Messrs Gudex and Fulton, and gave the dogs an excellent test. Results' were: Class I.—Open: R. Wilson’s Moss, 57 points, 1; M. B. Leslie’s Rock, 56 points, 2; T. Brankin’s Roy, 55 points, 3; I. Anderson’s Bob, 54 points, 4. District event: M. B. Leslie’s Rock, 56 point, 1; J. Demmock’s Gale, 49 points. 2; June Davis’s Roy, 45J points, 3: R. Russell’s Sky, 45’ points, 4. Maiden event: Same as district. Class 2.—Open: M. B. Leslie’s Moss, 1; M. B. Leslie’s Don, 2; T. Barwell’s Boy, 3; L. C. Fincham’s Dick, 4. District event: M. B. Leslie’s Moss, 54 points, 1; M. B. Leslie’s Don, 53 points, 2; L. C. Fincham’s Dick, 51 points, 3; W. Davis’s Brady, 48 Eoints, 3. Maiden event: L. C. Fincham’s tick, 1; W Davis’s Brady, 2; H. RoulBton’s Dash, 3; J. M. Pickering’s Trim. 4. Class 3.—Open: S.
