TRADE BETWEEN U.S. AND SOVIET ZONES

EXCHANGE OF GOODS BY GERMANS ARRANGED (Rec. 7 p.m.) BERLIN/ June 14. A two days’ conference between economic representatives of the Russian and American zones of Germany arranged for inter-zonal trade between German businessmen amounting in the first three months to £2,500,000. The aim of the agreement is to increase the inter-zonal flow of vitally needed raw materials and finished products.

The conference agreed also to continue the interchange each quarter of goods valued at £2,500,000.
