LAND TENURE IN BRITAIN
NATIONALISATION PLAN ATTACKED
(Rec. 9.30 p.m.) LONDON.. June 15. “The nationalisation of land in Britain would mean civil war, and it is time our politicians were told what to expect,” said a member of the council of the National Farmers’ Union (Mr A. G. Mobbs) in a speech to the Tithepayers’ Association in Norwich. “Members of the Government do not realise how deep down are the roots of agriculturists in the land.”
