FRENCH ADMIRALS FOR TRIAL

(Rec. 8 p.m.) PARIS, June 13. The High Court-has committed for trial four French admirals who are charged with collaboration with the enemy and alleged implication in the scuttling of the French Fleet m Toulon in November, 1942. They are Admiral Abrial, former Vichy Minister of Msrine, Admiral Marquis, former Maritime Prefect of Toulon. Admiral de la Borde, former Naval Command-er-in-Chief, and Admiral Auphan, Vichy Minister of Marine before Admiral Abrial. Admiral Auphan, who is still abroad, is to be tried in absentia.
