HOLME SETTLEMENT SECTIONS BALLOTED
Thirty-five returned servicemen applied for three unspecified sections on the Holme farm settlement near Timaru, part of Mr A. S. Elworthy’s Holme Station, which has been acquired by the Government for servicemen’s settlement. The Lands and Survey Department held a ballot for the sections yesterday, and the successful applicants were George Craib, Peter Joseph Farrell, and Ronald George Halkett.
