Gillespie (Waiau); forwards. R. Harris«(Kaikoura), N. F. Kfiworth (Waiau), R. Wallace (Kaikoura). RUGBY LEAGUE MR J. DODDS APPOINTED A N.Z. SELECTOR The West Coast Rugby League nas received advice that Mr J. Dodds (Blackball), one of the West Coast and South Island selectors, has been appointed a New Zealand selector. Mr Dodds has also been appointed manager of the South Island team which will play the North Island at Auckland in July. He will be one of the committee to choose the team to represent New Z.ealand against the visiting English team. Definite arrangements have now been made for the Anisy Shield match between West Coast and Canterbury to take place at Greymouth on Sunday, June 23. The Canterbury team will arrive by bus on the Saturday before the game and - will leave on its return to Christchurch on the Sunday evening.
