HISTORY OF KORMA MILLS LIMITED: The business was established at Auckland in 1939, fop the manufacture of men’s and women’s hosiery, knitted outerwear, and of knitted woollen goods generally. It was formed into a private limited company in 1940 when larger premises and additional plant were acquired, and a complete dyeing and finishing unit installed. Korma Mills now employs over 300 persons apd is already one of the largest producers of knitted woollen goods in New Zealand. EXPANSION PROPOSALS: The Company has purchased a property of 161 acres situated in Mt. Albert Road, Auckland, on which it is intended to build the new Mills.
