The shortage of housing in England is becoming more apparent as men are being released from the armed forces, according to a letter received from Liverpool this week. The writer says that many married women, who lived with their parents during the war. had been unable to find accommodation for themselves and their husbands. The couple mentioned had made application nearly six years ago for a house, but there were ‘‘millions before them.”
