ATTEMPTED COUP IN PARAGUAY

FIVE MEMBERS OF ARMY KILLED BUENOS AIRES, June 10. At least five members of the Paraguayan army were killed in what Paraguayan sources in Buenos Aires said was apparently an unsuccessful attempt to oust the Government of the President, General Moringo. Details are lacking, except for two brief communiques which filtered through the Paraguayan censorship. The first communique asserted that General Moringo had “reassumtsd” command of the army, and the second that order had been restored after the deaths of two officers and three enlisted men in a clash at Camp Grande.
