KELLY BEATS FULLER (PA.) AUCKLAND, June 10. In a clean and open professional lightweight boxing contest, Percy Kelly (Auckland) defeated Bobby Fuller (Australia) on points. The match was for a purse of £2OO and there was a capacity house. Kelly gained the decision by cleaner ranching and by forcing the fight. The winner weighed in at 9st 91b, and Fuller at 9st BJlb The bout was over 10 threeminutes rounds. In a special amateur contest of four two-minute rounds, D. Godward (Auckland, 9st 1311 b, beat N. The most exciting was the welter-weight contest in which D. Jones (Christchurch) beat T P Wright (Wigram) in three sharp rounds. Jones was awarded the special prize for the winner of the best bout of the evening In a six-round bout. R Tonks (Ashburton) beat I G.
