GOLF A Ladies’ Golf Union medal match, played at Diamond Harbour yesterday, was won by Mrs R K. Duckworth. A men’s medal match was halved by G. Cooper and L. Wilson. Cooper winning on the count back Funeral The funeral of Mr Robert Armour, who was killed in a motor accident at Burnham on Friday morning, took place yesterday at the Lyttelton public cemetery, and was the largest held in Lyttelton for many years Those attending included members of all the sports bodies of Lyttelton and of the Lyttelton Returned Services’ Association. Interment took place in the soldiers’ section of the cemetery, and “Last Post” was sounded by Mr F. Oakley.
