Briggs. o£ Wellington, assistant-national secretary of the Young Men’s Christian Association of New Zealand, has received advice from St. Louis, United States, that he has been elected a corresponding fellow of the American Academy of Physical The academy was established in 1926, and has a limited membershtp of 50. Mr Briggs is the first New Zealander to receive such an honour.
