Sir, —To-day’s issue of “The Press” contains two letters referring to sports matters, in which questions are asked; but in both instances the reply is “no comment to make.” This lack of courtesy on the part of racing officials and officials of other sports bodies is becoming serious. These gentlemen should realise that they are indebted primarily to the public for the positions they hold and therefore the public are entitled to know what is going on.—Yours, etc., SPORT.
