2050 GUINEAS PAID FOR GELDING
(PA.) AUCKLAND, June 7. Top price of 2050 guineas was, paid by Mrs Ann Powell, of Auckland, for a two-year-old gelding by Foxbridge from Bonny Gay at the winter thoroughbred sale to-day. The youngster, which was offered on behalf of Mr F. Marshall, Turua. is a half-brother to Bonny Pay. Mr M. Marinovich, owner of Good Bay, gave 725 guineas for the two-year-old filly. Light Opera, by Inflation from Sweet Music. Light Opera is a sister to Piccolo and was offered on behalf of Mr P. Keay, Maungaturota.
