CROPS ACCUMULATED BY BURMESE FARMERS

(Rec. 8 p.m.) RANGOON, June fl. At least 1,000,000 tons of rice were available for export from Burma, said the president of the Rangoon Rice Merchants’ Association (Mr Virjee Day a). This quantity was accumulated from crops from 1941 to 1945, when many tons had been hidden by farmers, who had falsified declarations to the Japanese.
