Truce Agreement In Manchuria PEACE TALKS TO FOLLOW
(Rec. 10 pm.) NANKING, June 5. An agreement. imposing a 15-day truce in Manchuria will be signed tomorrow as a preliminary to negotiations for a permanent peace between the Government and the Communist forces, who have been\warring tor 18 veirs, principally in Manchuria. The truce will have immediate effect after its signing by General G. C. Marshall’s committee of three, comprising the chief Communist negotiator, General Chou En-lai, Government representative, General Chu Young-Chang, and General Marshall.
