BALLOT AT SALE
Sir, —Why did “Fair Play” not sign his own name? The property cost £l4OO to build, and there was only one bid of £1200; so that was not fantastic. Why bring the Returned Services’ Association into it? There are hundreds who have lost their loved ones, some more than one; and they do not grumble.—Yours, etc., K. SCOTT. June 6, 1946.
