RADIO PROGRAMMES

Sir, —As one who appreciates the “daily health talks” from 3ZB each morning, I was surprised to read the caustic denouncement of them by your correspondent “Listener.” I congratulate Dr. Turbott on the concise manner in which these instructive talks are put over. It may be a case of one most in need of the advice being least appreciative. There is nothing like attacking a malady at its source- and I suggest that the breakfast table is the source of many complaints, including worms. If your correspondent is a sufferer the advice offered should, be followed and not accepted as a personal attack on his or her unwise choice of diet. If the correspondent is not a sufferer it is difficult to understand the irritability.— Yours, etc., KEEP IT UP. June 5, 1946.
