AIRMEN SERVING OVERSEAS (P.A.) WELLINGTON, June 17. Seventeen members of the Royal New Zealand Air Force serving overseas are listed in the Birthday Honours, having been mentioned in dispatches. They are: Steel, Squadron Leader Freeman Jesse, D.F.C., of Napier. Leslie, Acting-Squadron Leader Roy John Alexander, of Waitara. Lamason, Acting-Squadron Leader Philip John, D.F.C., of Napier. Watts, Flight Lieutenant Stephen Delaney, D.F.C., of Morrinsville. Henry, Flight Lieutenant David John Verdun, D.F.C., of Invercargill. Breckon, Acting-Flight Lieutenant Ivan Oswald, of Auckland. Spear, Acting-Flight Lieutenant Roy Bramwell, D.F.C., of Christchurch. Thomson, Flying Officer John Gordon, of Manakau. Head. Flying Officer Mawatu Malcolm Robert, of Invercargill. Adams, Flying Officer Donald Arthur, of Auckland. Fox. Flying Officer Francis Charles, ol Napier. Barr. Flying Officer Eric William, of Christchurch. MacPherson. Sergeant John Anderson, of Kaitaia. Joyce. Sergeant John Lloyd, of Christchurch. Brough, Sergeant Richmond, of Auckland. Peterson, Corporal Alan Stuart, of Herbert, North Otago. Glading, Leading Aircraftsman Clarence Mervyn, of Raholu. from there went to Australia in 1902 as general manager of Borthwick and Sons in Australia and New Zealand. His next position was with the Gladstone Meat Works, in Queensland. where he was general manager. Mr Kingdom then returned to New Zealand in 1914, when he received an appointment as general manager of Armour and Company, Christchurch. After the Great War he returned to Australia to organise the amalgamation of air freezing works in Victoria and was general manager of these concerns till ill-health compelled him to retire.
