SOUTH CANTERBURY OFFICERS Officers were re-elected as follows at the annual conference of the South Canterbury Provincial Executive of the Farmers’ Union held at Timaru on Tuesday:— President, Mr L. V, Talbot (Temuka): senior vice-president, Mr J. Dempsey (Walmate); junior vice-president, Mr D. M. France (Timaru): treasurer, Mr P. R. Talbot; delegates to Dominion conference. Messrs L. V. Talbot, J. Dempsey, and A. B. Struthers; representative on South Canterbury Chamber of Commerce, Mr J. Cleland; representative on the South Canterbury Employers’ Association, Mr A. B. Struthers: emergency committee, executive committee, and chairmen of committees. The following provincial executive was elected: — Walmate.—Messrs J. C. Hay, W. J. Fletcher, G. Barclay, J. Dempsey, W. L. Hay, B. Moyle, F. J. Henshaw, A. W. J. Robinson, H. Hayman, J. T. Anstey, C. G. Verity, D. Boyd Wilson. Timaru.—Messrs J. Stowell. W. H. Arden, G. L. Murray, D. M. France, J. H.
