LINWOOD METHODIST CHURCH

The forty-seventh anniversary services of the Linwood Methodist Church were held last Sunday: Preachers at the services were the Rev. H. W. Payne and the Rev. J. H. Allen, and solos were sung by Miss E. Graham and Miss J. Scott. On Tuesday the annual tea and social was held in the Sunday School Hall. An address was given by the Rev. G. Bielby, and a musical programme was presented. Reports of the church’s various activities were given as follows:—Church Trust. Mr W. C. Francis; Ladies' Guild, Mrs N. J. Rhind; Men’s Fellowship, Mr S. Hodgson; choir, Mr H. Thorpe; and Sunday School, Mr W. C. Francis.
