MATCHES WITH OTAGO Tentative dates for the exchange of representative matches between the Canterbury Rugby Union and the Otago Rugby Unloh were suggested at the meeting of the Canterbury management committee last evening. July 24 was proposed for the match at Christchurch, and either August 21 or 28 for the return fixture at Dunedin. Mr W Craddock, of the Buffer Union, who attended the meeting, indicated that return matches might be played at Christchurch late in August or in Septembei. When Mr H. C. Blazey had reported on the trip to the West Coast, it was decided to send letters of thanks for hospitality shown the touring Canterburyplayers. Training College was elevated from second grade to senior, second division The use of Rugby Park fot matches between the Christchurch and Timaru Boys' High Schools on June 23 was granted. Mr J, N. Clarke said that the Domains Board would investigate dressing accommodation in North Hagley Park.
