INQUEST AT RANGIORA
' VERDICT OF SUICIDE A verdict that Thomas Stevenson, widower, aged 75, Waikuku, had committed suicide by cutting his throat with a razor while in a state of mental depression was returned by the Coroner (Mr E. C. Levvey) at an Inquest held yesterday at Rangiora. Evidence was given that Stevenson had been missing from his home since about 8.20 on Sunday morning, and that his body was found later in some scrub at Waikuku beach.
