WAIMAIRI BEACH LADIES’ CLUB A Ladies' Golf Union match and the first round of the captain’s trophy competition, played by the Walmairi Beach Ladies' Golf Club, resulted in a tie between Mrs McGavock, 92, 20—72, and Miss J Simpson, 105, 33—72. Mrs McGavock won on the count back. RAWHITI LADIES’ CLUB A Ladles’ Golf Union match payed by the Rawhiti Ladles’ Club in conjunction with a stroke match, resulted as follows: —A grade: Mrs J. W. Lovell, 85. 13— 72- Miss N. Hartley, 91, 19—72; Mrs Palmer, 99, 23—76. B grade: Miss Duncan, 104, 33—701 Miss Lomas, 106, 26—79.
