MESSAGE TO THE KING
GREETINGS FROM NEW ZEALAND
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, June 7. The Governor-General (Sir Cyril Newall) has dispatched the following message to His Majesty the King:
“On the occasion of the celebration in New Zealand of Your Majesty’s birthday. I have the honour to tender Your Majesty, with my humble duty, on behalf of the Government and peoples of this Dominion, pakeha and Maori, loyal and sincere greetings and good wishes and an assurance,of their devotion to Your Majesty’s person and throne.—Signed, C. L. N. Newall, Gov-ernor-General,"
