CASUALTY CLEARING STATION IN NORTH AFRICAN BATTLE ZONE.—An indoor ward of an advanced clearing station. The unit is completely mobile, carrying tents and equipment for operating theatres and wards. Part of the equipment is a mobile electrical unit which supplies lighting for tents and power for X-ray apparatus. One casualty clearing station can treat 200 casualties at once.
