COMPLETION IN FEW DAYS , When finishing touches at the South Canterbury Hospital Board’s Chest J Hospital in Otipua road, Timaru, have < been completed in a few days, the < building will be ready for occupation. ; The cost of the new structure was about £7500, the architects being i Messrs Turnbull and Rule, and the builders were the No. 1 Group, Timaru Builders. The block, which has been built on , the west aide of Talbot Hospital, is 140 ft long by 31ft wide, and is one : storey high. The front faces north and contains 16 individual cubicles with a sun yiranda along the whole front. Behind the cubicles is a long corridor with all the service rooms on the south side. The equipment is of the most modern and up-to-date type, with stainless steel benches, and all the necessary sterilising appliances. v
