CHRISTCHURCH CLUB ELECTION OF OFFICERS The affairs of the club were in a very satisfactory state, and it would become necessary to place a limit on the membership. said the president (Mr R. A. Barnsdale), at the annual meeting of the Christchurch Bowling Club. He added that the last season had been the most successful for a considerable number of years. The following officers were elected for the. ensuing year:—President, Dr. W. S. Seed; Immediate past president, Mr R. A. Barnsdale; vice-presidents, Messrs A. R. Sherris and H. A. Stewart; committee, Dr. J. D. Marks, Messrs N. S. Wybcr, W. E.. McLean, and M. J. Christie; secretary, Mr A. R. Sherris; selectors, Messrs A. S. Watkins and W. E. McLean; match committee, Messrs M. J. Christie, T. J. Thompson, and W. L. King; house commltttee, Messrs P. E. Drayton, R. Adcock, and W. . Seager; tea-room committee, Messrs L. J. Taylor. W. Seager, and P. Drayton; green superintendent, Mr H. A. Stewart; honorary gardener, Mr R. Adcock; auditor,''Mr ;J. Alnger; delegate to centre. Dr. W. S. Seed; coaches, Dr. J. D. Marks, Messrs A. Dey, A. G.Kinvig, and J, AingOr. The results of the club competitions are as follows:—Champion singles, J. Ainger. Champion pairs: A. G. Kinvlg and T. G. Fox. ‘ Champion fours: G. Law, C. M. Saunders, A. R. Sherris, and O. C. Cox.. Junior Cup: A. E.. Kincaid. Helliwell cup: W. L. King. Perry, Cup: P. Ivlmey and W. J. Dickinson. Struthers’ doubles: S. W. Jameson and R. A. Barnsdale. President’s fours: K. Burt, T. J. Thompson, W. Sherris/ and A. S. Watkins.
