■+ LAND AND WATER TRIALS HELD A series of land and water trials was conducted by the Canterbury Gun Dog Club on Mr Shipley’s property at Harewood recently. The trial for open dogs wqs a combined land and water test, and proved too difficult for most of the competitors. only two dogs completing the aggregate. In the other classes several of the dogs worked well and gave interesting performances. Mr G. L. PomfretDodd judged all classes. Results ;-<Dpen class: J.
