ACCIDENTS
FALL FROM ROOF When he fell from the roof of a building at 24 Seddon street, Sydenham, yesterday morning, Mr Cyril George Green, aged 51 years, a plumber, of 90 Radley street, 'Woolston, suffered concussion and minor injuries to the back and hip. He was admitted to the Christchurch Public Hospital, where his condition is reported to be satisfactory. STILL SERIOUSLY ILL According to a report from the Christchurch Public Hospital, the condition of Mrs Florence McLellan, aged 70, who was admitted to the hospital on Saturday suffering from extensive burns, is now fairly satisfactory. However, she is still on the seriously ill list. MAN STRUCK BY LORRY AT TIMARU When he was struck by a motorlorry in Strathallan street, Timaru, yesterday afternoon, George Wyatt, aged 64 years, of Cambridge terrace, Timaru, received a fractured leg and abrasions to his head. He was taken to the Timaru Public Hospital, and his condition last evening was stated to be serious. The accident occurred at about 2.45 p.m., the driver of the lorry being Guthrie Wilson. BUSHMAN KILLED (P.A.) NAPIER, June 1. Roland Carl Sunborn, a bushman, was killed at Kotemaori to-day when a tree fell on him. He was a married man. TRUCKER KILLED (P.A.) WHANGAREI, June 1. James Tipton, aged 20, a trucker employed in a mine, died in hospital this morning from injuries believed to have been caused by the handle of a trucking brake striking him on the chest, ■
