ENGINEERING CHEMISTRY SCHOOL
1 Good progress is being made with preliminary arrangements for the establishment at Canterbury University College of a School of Engineering Chemistry as a memorial to the former Rector (Dr. H. G. Denham). The college committee reported yesterday that a sub-committee was completing details of the financial requirements of the course. The Rotary Club had promised financial assistance, and a draft scheme of proposals was being prepared for submission to any organisations which might wish to help.
