Short-wave reception continues to be good, according to advice from DX Radio. Recent reports from members indicate that the following stations have been received: — HPSK, Colon, Panama, 6.005 megacycles, which opens at midnight with the “Merry Widow” selection. TIEP, San Jose, Costa Rica, 6.687 megacycles, at 3 p.m. daily. TGWB, the “Voice of Guatemala,” testing on approximately 6.5 megacycles, and closing at 5.15 p.m., announces in English and Spanish. ZHP, Singapore, 9.69 megacycles, irregularly from midnight. 2ZB, Wellington, is also testing on 3.6 and 6.96 megacycles, and is being well received overseas. In addition to the list of ; European broadcast band stations given last week, the following are being heard at fair volume about 5 a.m.:—Prague, Czechoslovakia, 638 kilocycles; Lyons, Prance, 648 kilocycles; Milan, Italy, 814 kilocycles: Goteberg, Sweden, 941 kilocycles; Barcelona, Spain, 1022 kilocycles; Bari, Italy, 1059 kilocycles; Radio Mediterranean, France, 1276 kilocycles. .
