WOMEN’S TEMPERANCE UNION
RICCARTON BRANCH A musical entertainment under the auspices of the Riccarton branch of the Women’s Christian Temperance Union -was held at the home of Mrs Clark, Pioton avenue. Musical and elocutionary items were given by Mesdames Woodward, Hindle, Stewart, Mclvor, and Colthart. The Rev. Clarence Eaton gave an interesting address on the liquor traffic. Afternoon tea was served, and votes of thanks were passed to the hostess, the speaker, and artists.
