OKUTI VALLEY
TO THE EDITOE OF THE PBESS. Sir, —I wonder how many of your readers have visited Okuti Valley at Little River. This secluded little spot, delightful at all seasons of the year, is just, now made specially beautiful with the golden glory of the kowhais, which are now at their best, and in an ideal setting. To the residents of the valley may I say “Thank you” for sparing so many lovely trees from the axe and fire-stick.—Yours, etc., R. B, OWEN. September 30, 1938.
