CHILDREN'S CONCERT

MATINEE FOR ALAN LOVEDAY FUND A children's matinee in aid of the Alan Loveday fund will be held in the Civic Theatre at 10.30 to-morrow niorning. A splendid programme has been arranged, including items by Alan Loveday, the remarkable New Zealand boy violinist Mr Jack Maybury will lead community singing, and will have some of his amusing "stunts*' for the children. Many local performers have agreed to assist. This will be an opportunity for the children of Christchurch to see and hear Alan Loveday and to assist in sending him overseas.
