SOCIAL AND PERSONAL Miss Clarke, who has been Child Welfare Officer at Timaru for. .the last lour years, left for her new post at Wbanearei yesterday.
Mr and Mrs G. Innes-Jones (June street) are spending a holiday at m Forest. Miss Eleanor Cleland and Miss Joyce Humphrey, who were guests of MX* James Cleland (Bidwill street), ha** returned to Dunedin. Miss Edith Winslow (Roxburgh) iF the guest of Mrs J. E. P. Cameron (Glen-iti). Dr. and Mrs G. H. TJssher (Sefton street) have returned from a visit w Hanmer Springs.
