FANCY DRESS BALL
SCHOOL LIBRARY BENEFITS In order to raise funds for the school library, a fancy dress dance was held in the Town Hall, Amberley. A programme of folk dancing was given by the pupils, and the accompanists were Miss L. Bowlker, Miss E. Armstrong, and Mrs W. Gee. Mr J. D. Boyce, chairman of the school committee, thanked the headmaster (Mr W. E. Cook) and staff for- their help. A dance was held afterwards for the adults, Miss Brady's orchestra playing the music, and Mr Hayes was master of ceremonies.
