CANTERBURY CHAMPIONSHIPS The semi-final of the Canterbury juuior billiards championships was played on Monday evening, when R. Norrie (St. Albans) met G. McGregor (Richmond), and after an interesting game, scored a victory. D. McLenaghan (Sydenham) and C. Hawker (Working Men’s Club) met in the other match, the former winning by 300 points to 248. Hawker recorded a break of 51, the highest yet scored in the tournament. The final game, 500 up, between Norrie and McLenaghan, will- be played at the Returned Soldiers’ Association to-morrow evening. At Lyttelton this evening, A. Albertson and T. Elkis. both members ot the local club, will contest the final of the Canterbury championship.
