PARTY CO-OPERATION
TO THE EDITOB OF THE PSESS. Sir, —It is worthy of note that the National Party has offered to co-oper-ate with the Labour Government in time of war; but we have seen that it will not co-operate with the same Government in time of peace in its gallant efforts to ease the struggle for existence of the people by arranging that they shall have sufficient purchasing power to enable them to enjoy more of the good things of life. In this connexion, might I suggest that one of the following slogans may be considered fitting: "Guns, not goods," or "United we kill, divided we starve."—Yours, etc., R.H. I September 24, 1938.
