BODY FOUND IN HARBOUR

WELLINGTON, September 24.

The body of a man was recovered from the harbour by the police at 6 o'clock this morning. He was aged about 50, and was sft lOin high, of good build, with a fresh complexion and dark hair, going bald. There were scars on the left cheek, right knee,; and ankle. There were no teeth. His clothes were a navy blue suit and overcoat. He had a walking stick" and spectacles. There was nothing to disclose his identity.
