ORCHESTRAL SOCIETY’S CONCERT

A very attractive programme has been arranged for the second subscription concert to be given in the Radiant Hall next Wednesday by the Christchurch Orchestral Society’s full orchestra. “Jupiter” Symphony No. 5 in C (Mozart), “Scenes Pittoresque” (Massenet), “Merry Wives of Windsor” (Nicolai), and "Valse Triste” (Sibelius), should prove popular. _ Soloists are Mr Arthur' Gordon, Miss Vera Yager, and Miss Ailsa Crompton.
