FRIDAY (Before Mr E. C. Levvey, S.M.) CHARGES OF THEFT Two young men, whose names were ordered not to be published, pleaded gvilty to a charge of stealing a radiator cap and mascot valued at 17s, property of Ernest Sydney Bancroft. and were each fined £1 and ordered to pay costs. Mr W. F. Tracy appeared for the accused. TRAFFIC BREACHES Breaches of the traffic regulations were dealt with by fines as follows (with orders to pay costs in each case): Cycling on footpath—William Anderson. costs only: Frederick Cook, 10s; Alexander McKay, convicted and discharged. Driving at a speed dangerous to the public—Aubrey Dalton Bates. £3; (no warrant of fitness. ss). licence to be suspended for one month. Insufficient lights on car—Richard A. B. Cliff, costs only. . Negligent driving—Richard Michael Peoples. 20s. Failing to give way to the right— Arthur George Streeter, 20s; , John David Crutch. 20s. Driving without due care and attention—Roderick Wallace Joyce, £2 (driving car with no warning device, 10s); Isaac Alfred Sterling. ss; Charles William Martin, dismissed.
