* ST. ANDREW’S COLLEGE ,EVENT The annual cross-country run for boys of St. Andrew’s College was held under ideal conditions yesterday afternoon. Times were considerably better than for some years, the junior performances being particularly good. The winning competitor in this section covered the course in 22min llsec, which is only Xlsec outside the record. Following are results;— Senior Fast Pack—C. A. Watson 1, N. Ackroyd 2, J. A. WEST’ HIGH SCHOOL BOYS Cross-country runs for the boys of the Christchurch West High School were held yesterday on courses round South Hagley Park. Results were;— Open—N. T. White 1. D.
