Fire, which broke out shortly before 10 p.m. on Wednesday, completely gutted an outhouse attached to the residence of Mr L. A. O’Brien. 14 Craigie street. Timaru. By the time the Timaru Fire Brigade had arrived the flames had obtained such a hold that efforts were confined to saving the main buildings. Bags of lime in the shed assisted the fire, which was subdued before it reached the house itself. *
