CANTERBURY CHAMPIONSHIPS The results of matches in the third round of the Canterbury junior billiards championship are as follows: — K. Norrie (St. Albans) 300 (breaks 32, 20, 24) beat T. Gilroy (Working Men's Club) 187; D. McLenaghan (Sydenham) 300 (break 25) beat J. A. Pulley (Rangiora) 249 (break 21); G. McGregor (Richmond) 300 beat W. H. King (Working Men's Club) 272: C. Hawker (Working Men's Club) 300 beat H. Elvy (Returned Soldiers' Association) 155. The draw for the semi-finals Is: Norrie v. McGregor, at the Police Club, and McLenaghan v. Hawker, at Richmond. The final will be played at the Christchurch Returned Soldiers' Association. The final of the Canterbury championship between A, Albertson and T. Elkis. both members of the Lyttelton Club, will be played at 7.30 p.m. next Wednesday, 1 at Lyttelton.
